Having a first look session allows all of the wedding party shots to be taken before in great natural lighting! Not to mention the timeline for brides is sooo much more relaxing and after the ceremony you can pretty much go straight to the party!

Special sentiments were read during the ceremony. I was shocked how fast the ceremony went!!! I was all over the place capturing each part, never a lagging moment. It was hot though… we had full sun. This made beautiful backlighting for Kathryn being walked down the isle and I captured a perfect drop of sweat coming off of Rob’s chin! ha ha ha.

The sun was quickly setting at the first dances and golden rays streamed in for a dramatic shot of Kathryn and her dad’s first dance. Boy, can Rob & Kathryn dance!!! They are so cute together.

If I was more of a eloquent writer I would write a saga on how yummy these cupcakes were and how YUMMY they smelled!!! The setup reminded me of something you’d see on the show Cupcake Wars. Super stylized, yet simple and elegant!
The sword they used to cut the cake was Rob’s great great great Grandfather’s sword!

…BAM!!! I’m having flash backs now… Robs getting his new wife OUTTA there!!! A small fire, broken glass, but no casulties… other than a few eyebrows, eyelashes, minor burns… all in all a great evening!
