Yesterday was Barant + Amber’s wedding in downtown Columbus, Ohio and their blog post is already UP! I loved Amber’s blue accents and the girl’s dresses and shoes!! Not to mention Amber’s dress. Wow!!! It was fitted, yet had a long lacy train without the weight…. lovely for photos! I first met these two at Barant’s sister’s wedding and snapped a few quick shots of them even before they were engaged!! They were adorable!! Both families are so sweet and easy going.
Mom & Amber shared moments in the suite with misty eyes… fanning not to cry. As Amber was buckling her shoes it brought a tear to mom’s eye with memories from when she was little. Her sister helped Amber with last minute touches.
Amber + Barant decided to take ALL of their photos BEFORE the ceremony! Such a great idea for brides wanting to go right to the party afterwards and enjoy their own cocktail hour! Also, a private moment with just the two of them to share and breath in the tenderness of the day. Additionally, Bicentennial Park was alive with music this day, which made our time with the wedding party and family photos quite lively!
The two tied the knot at St. Leo’s – amazing! A heartfelt message was delivered to love each other and choose each other daily. It’s unlikely for perfect love, other than God’s love. But with Him as an example, grace, and commitment; a strong marriage and continued love is attainable. Barant + Amber have chosen each other and waited for each other to enjoy their day to day blessings together.
Toasts for the evening were excellent. Amber’s sister recounted a “little black dress” that caught Barant’s eye when they first met at Put-In-Bay, leading to the start of their relationship. Barant’s best man joked about the foosball table in the dinning room being replaced by a dinning room table with Amber’s arrival! Her father’s toast included well wishes and blessings for futility for the newlyweds!! Barant’s quite a cutie with his dimples! Can’t wait to see what blesses come for them!
A super fun photo booth with TONS of props and plenty of room for handfuls of friends was set-up. I snapped a few shots of my own of all the fun. Amber calls Barant, Bear. I just saw on Amber’s Facebook wall one friend called them AmBear! hahahahhaa. Love it!
