Pretty Place Chapel is one of those places that when you first walk through the entrance and see the mountain views you have to remember to breath! I kid you not. As you walk down the stairs to get into the chapel it feels as if you are walking off a mountain cliff. I absolutely adore this chapel and have tried on numerous occasions to catch a sunrise here… so far I’ve only had foggy sunrise mornings with no view…but as the sun rises the fog clears and the true beauty can be enjoyed.
A few times a year I do wedding photography as a second photographer for friends. This particular wedding has been in my vault aka hard drive since 2013 and was photographed for Seek Joy Photography – check out her BLOG feature of Dianne + Michael’s day. As a second photographer, I was mainly with the groomsmen for portraits and assisting with off camera lighting (Pretty Place is a tough location to photograph and you need additional lighting to get those mountain views!!!)… here are some of my favorites/favourites from the day. This wedding included so many adorable kids.
