Early Spring for St. Patrick’s Day | Personal

Living in NW Ohio for the past 6 years I’ve learned that the weather does not get warm until after Mother’s Day. Today was a different story. Mid-day it was 67 degrees and sunny! You can already see the Dwarf Daffodils starting to emerge out of the ground in my front garden. Every fall it’s a constant battle with the chipmunks keeping the bulbs buried. I thought I’d lost the battle but as you can see I’ve won yet again. Before you e-mail…. those cute earrings were a present from my sweet friend Melanie. Thank you Melanie! I had so many compliments wearing them today as my “green.” They were designed by the talented Jeanne Ewald of Tatting and Quilling.
