Lite de-weeding today
My husband and I are renting a home in a historic neighborhood. We absolutely LOVE living here. The house was originally built in the 1850’s and is one of the oldest homes in the area. This used to be the telegraph station. We are also within a short walk to the river and Sidecut Metropark. Three years ago we were looking to move from our apartment to a home when riding bikes through this neighborhood. We almost didn’t call the “for rent” number because the porch was in need of fresh paint. However, once we saw the inside we knew it was for us. Now, three years later (to the date) our landlord has informed us the next warm day the porch will be painted!!! I’m so excited because now the outside will be as cute and inviting as the inside. I can now secretly stop applying to HGTV’s curb appeal. 🙂 Stay tuned for those “after” pictures!
