I have known Jeff for the past 7 years. He was formerly my boss and one of two self-proclaimed “lifelong bachelors” at work that enjoyed the single status. This was true until a few years back when he met Jennifer. I liked Jennifer from the moment I met her. Full of energy and an exact match to Jeff”s passion for life. I first took their portrait together at Kevin Koelsch’s daughter’s wedding. (the one responsible for hiring me for my day job and my move from SC to Ohio) Aw… the “dating” years…

September 19, 2009 I was honored to photograph their wedding.
Now… just over a year, still honeymooning… they are expecting! All my wedding couples recieve a free 1-year anniversary session with three referrals. Jeff + Jennifer just so happened to turn their anniversary session into a maternity one!!
I had Jennifer hold her belly to show her “bump” because she is so very small to be due in January!! Their other baby, dog Griffin, wanted to be in every picture!! I let him have this one licking their hands.
Jeff surprised Jennifer with their portrait session today. They were already dress to go to a wedding reception and had me show up! Jennifer was just talking about needing photos taken with their +1. (Can’t say the gender b/c it is a surprise to some family members) I love this shot of the babies hand reaching out.
The session was at their home…. they really have some nice backgrounds! Very fall…
I love how animated Jennifer and Jeff are together. Cracks me up… I don’t know if they knew I was shooting here… I just click click click…
