McKibben Family | Fallen Timbers & Sidecut Portraits

After seeing these photos you are going to be AMAZED to hear this is the FIRST time they have had family portraits since their son was 4 weeks old!! Craziness!! They are such a cute family… We started out at Fallen Timbers for a few shots because it had been raining nearly all day. I have been wanting to do a session here FOREVER so I was happy Michelle was game! 🙂 Fallen Timbers has a lot to offer other than shopping. They have an oversized chess set and plastic/foamy outdoor furniture around a fire pit. There is even a wading pool for toy boats…

Love the outside furniture! Aren’t they adorable?

They are sooooo cute!!!

Kids are pros at tackling Dad!! … and now for the furry family member’s debut… Rimmey! I have to say she was one of the most well trained labs I’ve met! Super silky too. I hear she had a bath for her portrait. 🙂

I love this look between Michelle + Scott.

Allie does baton! I could tell by her poses… 🙂

I told Michelle to give Scott ‘the look’…. 🙂

Michigan fans!

Wherever you are in life, a “just because” mini session on a whim can be that memory you smile back on again and again.

We’re up at Tamborine Mountain quite a bit these days, which means we get to offer minis in some pretty incredible rainforest spots — the kind of places that just might become your new favourite spots, too.

No milestone required. No special occasion. Just you, your people, and some time together. #mounttamborine
Something about choosing a special place and being in the moment together.
Yesterday was a GOOD one. For the first time I photographed my couple in this paper bark tree lane...normally there are cars parked on either side but we had this cozy spot all to ourselves last night. Tamborine Mountain Glades, you never disappoint. #tamborinemountainwedding
