Jess + Jackson made a last moment decision to do a First Look session on Saturday to calm their nerves as they just received the news their wedding had to be completely different to what they had planned. We did absolutely EVERYTHING in sonic speed on their day…. A super early ceremony, champagne with guests, speeches, cake cutting… all before that looming 4p Covid lockdown deadline. It may have been short…but it was definitely sweet.

When we arrived, Jess was calling all the vendors to meet her at the ceremony within the hour if they could! At 10am the Queensland government announced the lockdown would begin at 4pm. This meant her ceremony that was set for 2:30pm was now at 12:30 and she was getting in her dress and headed straight to meet her groom and get married. Everyone had to strap in for a day without a defined plan – and vendors that managed to pull it all together quick-smart! This day was a testament to Jess + Jackson as awesome humans. They cried, they laughed, they lived their day to the fullest… all 3.5 hours of it.
