Where do I start. This wedding was awesome…and I wasn’t even a guest. I don’t think I stopped smiling the entire day. Michelle + Joe are such a fun couple and everything about their day reflected this. After a few wet weekends theirs was gorgeous! The ceremony was at the Lilypond at Brisbane City Botanical Gardens with garden and cityscape views. A reception followed at Quay West Brisbane. Michelle and I both share the same love of native flowers….and the florist did not disappoint! The great thing about natives is they easily dry well and maintain their colour. A few fun twists were some polish traditions incorporated. One of the most memorable was the bread/vodka ceremony where the couple is served a salty bread then they choose a shot at random. One is water and one is vodka. The one that gets the vodka is given the prize of ruling the household. Michelle scored the vodka!!! Cheers to the newlyweds!
