Photographing entire families is a privilege that I cherish as a professional photographer. I met the Greenwood family at Oxley Creek Common for a golden hour portrait session that surpassed all expectations. To achieve the rustic aesthetic they desired, we ventured beyond my usual routes, walking a 3k return journey with young kids — but they ‘ran’ most of the way to my surprise! The rustic tones of the area perfectly complemented their vision, and as luck would have it, the first day of controlled fires created a mesmerizing orange sky. It is family sessions like these that reaffirm the profound impact photography can have on our lives.
