How many wedding guests?

Please list 1 or 2 event guides to help organize people for your formal groupings. We don’t know anyone so it’s easier if there are a few people that know your guests that are willing to help. Also, please let them know they will be helping us and to find us after the ceremony. We will give them a copy of the group photo list.

Besides the couple, who is the best person to contact for assistance on the morning for the bride and groom? If I need to reach either of you on the day to find out room numbers or ask specific questions about you this is the person I would call. I would like one contact for the bride and one for the groom with cell phone numbers. It's recommended to pick someone in your wedding party versus a parent.

Where will the bride and groom be getting ready? (address and any necessary parking information).

Let me know approximately how long it takes to get into your dress for timing purposes. Are there any details/objects in the morning that you'd like me to be sure to photograph?

Walk me through the timeline of your reception. (All requested events to be photographed, ie speeches, first dances, cake cutting, etc.)

When you think about your wedding day, what are the "must-have" photos that come to mind?

While it might seem like a photographer's job is to capture everything, it's essential to communicate any specific shots that are especially meaningful to you. For instance, on my wedding day, I wish I had told my photographers that I really wanted three key photos: #1 An "epic" shot of the venue, fully decorated before the guests arrived as I had spent 6 months hand making all of the decorations #2 A twilight photo of the venue from the outside as we had picked an old cabin with a mountain in the distance and the interior lights would have glowed like a Thomas Kinkade painting #3 Candid shots of guests mingling at the reception. These moments were incredibly important to me. Sharing a few key aspects that are important to you can make a big difference. Another example, I once had a bride that said the most important photos to her were of the kids at the wedding. If she hadn’t mentioned that, I might not have focused on capturing as many shots of the kids because I typically prioritize documenting the main events of the day, the couple, and their interactions.
