In 2005 Amber was diagnosed with Leukemia. Her daughter Makayla was not even 1 yet. Makayla just turned five and Amber is still struggling with the after effects of her transplant three years ago. Friday we spent the afternoon in Saluda, NC updating their family portraits. Amber is a long time friend of mine from kindergarten. I have been taking photos since then and have pictures of us from kindergarten to now. Maybe I’ll post a blog with some old photos…
