I had the absolute pleasure to travel to Providence, RI to second shoot for Anna Sawin! I love New England, so grouping a fun long weekend with wedding photography is sublime! Let me share some highlights with you of Matt & Shay’s reception on the beach.
I really enjoyed seeing this navy table cloth! I have a obsession with collecting table cloths and antique dishes… I have a round table at home so I always get great ideas from weddings on how to decorate at home when I decide to do different themes when guests are in town.
Shay had a continued theme from the rehearsal to the wedding of earthy rocks and great flower arrangements. For favors there were gumball bride & groom candies. You’ll see these again carried into the wedding as a custom cake topper. Too cute. You can’t really see the guest book but a friend wrote, “Always remember to kiss before saying goodnight.”
The reception was held at the Old Lyme Beach Club. My husband wanted the swordfish on the wall.
Quite the entertainment all evening… very personable!
Matt was explaining the story behind “The Duke” and the “must have” wild G-strings for all the groomsmen!
Anna captured an amazing silhouette that Shay said reminded her of Dirty Dancing… see for yourself on Anna’s BLOG. I had my fisheye lens on for the above shots so we could get two different perspectives shooting from the same location. What a fun night!
