Shirey Family | Family Portrait

So this past week I had Deja vu…. same day as the previous week and same park… Shirey family portraits! However, this time the entire extended family was included. I first met this family when I photographed Jamie & David’s wedding. Ever since then I’ve been included in their lives for the yearly family portraits. 🙂

Most of us never know when we’ve picked our child up for the very last time.
That’s why photos matter.
They freeze the little moments we assume we’ll always remember... until life quietly moves on. Michelle had an idea and wanted to capture this moment with her daughter. We did many twirls and kisses. 💕🫶🏻

There’s a very specific kind of joy that happens when kids are told “just be yourselves” and then fully commit to it 😂
Running, spinning, disappearing into the grass, reappearing with things… 10/10 entertainment, 10/10 photos. Oxley Creek was basically their playground for the afternoon. Our next minis (only 10-15 mins and you get some "priceless" moments) will be mid July at the Granite Belt Christmas Farm.
