Alberto + Natalie | Wedding Part I

Natalie & Alberto are very similar to myself in photographic style… in-the-moment captures and not so much on the posing side. I myself am not very comfortable in front of the camera, thus the reason I picked up one! In the past several years I have learned that the best pictures are the unplanned ones. I try to bring an open environment to all weddings I shoot. I look for good lighting and will have the couple be themselves and enjoy the moment. This was easy to do with Alberto & Natalie. I love this shot which shows the tenderness they share towards each other.

Natalie & Alberto chose to do a First Look Session. Although I had a hard time keeping Alberto’s eyes away from Natalie before the actual “first look.”  🙂  A First Look Session is when the bride & groom are able to share an intimate moment or “first look” before the ceremony. No wedding party, family, or guests, just them. It’s practically the only time a couple will have alone on the day of their wedding. It’s a special time to connect and feel all your wedding nerves melt away!

The reception was at the Oliver House in downtown Toledo and also where we decided to do the First Look Session.

Alberto moved to Toledo for a job just over 3 years ago and met Natalie online in a shared faith site. They have been together for the past two years and are both very caring and sweet spirited. In my time with them I could tell they both leaned on each other for support and Alberto makes Natalie laugh.

Natalie & Alberto take a short walk together the morning of their wedding day… the weather was so nice for them! It’s been quite humid but today was perfect. I really liked their wedding attire, right down to their shoes!

So sweet!

Beautiful!

Natalie’s mom made her bouquet… 🙂

A little more artsy on the color editing but I liked the contrast between the window pane and Alberto’s suit. What a kiss!
