Alberto + Natalie | Wedding Part II

Alberto & Natalie were married this past Saturday at St. Catherine’s in Toledo.  The first part of their photos can be found here. I had to split up the posts because I had so many favorites to share! Natalie’s sister made the cute programs!

Alberto & his brother with last minute adjustments before the ceremony was to begin. Natalie’s mom not only made her bouquet but these aisle flower arrangements too. So many vibrant color choices… love it! Natalie’s parents walked her down the aisle.

I love it when churches have amazing natural lighting!

They did it!!!

The Cafe at the Oliver House had a inside area and a cute adjoining patio!

The reception started near 1p so Natalie & Alberto had the wonderful idea to make their reception brunch style! As you can see the Menu was a mile long and YES I tried everything!!!

For entertainment a Mariachi band took requests and sang from table to table for everyone to enjoy. They were absolutely wonderful and played the entire reception!

I love old pictures! Especially this one of Alberto!!!

Happiness.

I have never seen a cake so smoothly iced! The icing was different than anything I have tasted before too. Almost like a whipped cream with a light sour cream and lemon/vanilla mix. Hmmm… something I need to try on my own sometime.

Natalie’s sister gave a touching speech on how Natalie waited for God to bring the right husband. It’s very encouraging to see what God has in store for those who trust in Him until their perfect match comes along.

Congratulations Natalie & Alberto! Beautiful & very intimate wedding!

(Rotate screen) This year I was a bit ambitious. In-between school drop off and pickup one day - I designed a “look book” for the sunflower festival. There is a spread that shows how the lighting in the field changes by the half hour and sun vs overcast days. I’ll have a copy at the photo sign in table and my pod for those that would like to turn it’s pages… and maybe even see yourself as I know I have a lot of repeat clients each festival 🌻
Every wedding has that photo… this was theirs.

The one that somehow holds everything—the energy, the calm, the just-married feeling you can’t quite put into words.

But the truth is, it’s never just one moment.
It’s a whole in-between chapter.

The quiet moments, the laughter, the “what do we do with our hands?”
The way it all unfolds naturally when you’re just being together.

Part 1: finding the light, settling the nerves, easing into it.
Part 2: where the magic sneaks in ✨

This is what your portrait gallery can feel like.
