Courtney’s sisters and mom share a moment together just before it’s time to walk down the aisle. Courtney shared with me that Doug had specifically requested the “curly” hairdo!
Reenacting a photo that was taken with Courtney’s mom and grandmother makes a treasured keepsake. (L) Original jewelry from mom’s wedding along with Courtney’s for today. Mom really wanted to make today special and sentimental.
Doug & Courtney both share BIG families! It’s very refreshing to see such love & support by those close to you. My assistant took the great shot of the guys praying.
Courtney & Doug recited a marriage covenant together. A special touch to include the wedding party and parents as they each came up to sign the agreement.
When I first met Courtney & Doug I asked how they met. It’s a classic story of romance… Courtney was filling in for Doug’s physical therapist and the connection was made! I know Doug is counting his blessings for being injured and meeting such a kindhearted physical therapist! Courtney has a very sweet spirit and presence about her. They make such a great couple!
Here we are all smiles, with natural lighting!! Today was supposed to rain all day… I can continue on my promise to my brides that I have never been totally rained out and not shot in natural light!
The reception took place in the Great Hall at the Stranahan with one of my favorite wedding caterers – Michael’s Gourmet Catering.
So sweet!
A photo booth was set up at the reception for this fun shot! Courtney & her two sisters were all married within the year. Look at poor Dad! To see more photo booth shots click here.
