Jorjee + Alex | Branell Homestead Wedding

While most people are sitting at their 9-5 on a Wednesday these two were getting MARRIED! I knew Jorjee + Alex were going to be fun when they picked our favourite mugs at our consultation – namely a Unicorn and Llama mug. Avid tea drinkers, they brought this into their day by selecting loose leaf teas and jarred them for favours. Guests were treated all day with a grazing bar of snacks and hot/cold beverages… and some of the most AMAZING vegan food! At the end of the night many were settled into Uno or a game of Jenga… with a few watching the State of Origin. The day felt amazingly homemade and cozy. We are so happy for you both! (Rotate screen) This year I was a bit ambitious. In-between school drop off and pickup one day - I designed a “look book” for the sunflower festival. There is a spread that shows how the lighting in the field changes by the half hour and sun vs overcast days. I’ll have a copy at the photo sign in table and my pod for those that would like to turn it’s pages… and maybe even see yourself as I know I have a lot of repeat clients each festival 🌻
Every wedding has that photo… this was theirs.

The one that somehow holds everything—the energy, the calm, the just-married feeling you can’t quite put into words.

But the truth is, it’s never just one moment.
It’s a whole in-between chapter.

The quiet moments, the laughter, the “what do we do with our hands?”
The way it all unfolds naturally when you’re just being together.

Part 1: finding the light, settling the nerves, easing into it.
Part 2: where the magic sneaks in ✨

This is what your portrait gallery can feel like.
