Dallas Love Photography – Brisbane Portrait Photographer – Kalbar Sunflower Farm

The closest sunflower farm from Brisbane is just an hour away, located at Kalbar. Kalbar Sunflower Farm is a pretty special place as it’s on the scenic rim trail and surrounded by rolling mountains. You can’t get any brighter or happier photos than with a field full of sunflowers. During their sunflower festival time they have food trucks on site and you can pick and cut your own stems at just $2. When there aren’t sunflowers blooming (2-3 week prime season), they have wildflower fields (Scenic Rim Flower Farm) where you can pick your own bucket. This farm is quite the central spot for activities as they host morning yoga classes, sip and paint sessions, cooking classes, live music events, weddings, and so on! We were super excited this season to be given exclusive access for our clients for sunset photography sessions.

The Pokoj Family

We have become good friends since their wedding with the Pokoj Family. We share a love of themed parties and creating memorable family adventures. So you can imagine when we suggested their next family session at the Kalbar Sunflower Farm – which meant a fun family adventure AND colourful family photos they were in!
