Sean + Amanda | Portrait

For New Years I met Sean + Amanda at the 577 Foundation. We were all hoping for snow pictures… but temperatures warmed up and melted everything! Sean wasn’t complaining though. He was actually freezing our entire session. He is visiting from So. Africa so our “warm” 45 degrees wasn’t his definition of warm. ha ha.

It was soooo much fun photographing Sean + Amanda. They have a long distance relationship so every moment together is priceless. They both met in Argentina but now Amanda is going to college in the states and Sean is in the Army. I was lucky enough to meet them through Lisa + Stephen. Amanda told me she saw their Operation: Love Reunited post back in August and started following my blog. Yay!! One follower!! 🙂

Even without snow their photographs are beautiful moments together. Sean + Amanda have been dating for just over a year. They both went to school together which is where they met.

Ahhh… young love!

We decided to go on the river walk trail…

…we didn’t make it to the river

…but we did find this amazing field… and sun!!

Gorgeous light!

Amanda joked Sean… some brush for him!  🙂

A little more processing than I normally do but I’m happy with how they turned out…

Adorable! They are so cute together.

Love it!

Such a fun shot.

Wherever you are in life, a “just because” mini session on a whim can be that memory you smile back on again and again.

We’re up at Tamborine Mountain quite a bit these days, which means we get to offer minis in some pretty incredible rainforest spots — the kind of places that just might become your new favourite spots, too.

No milestone required. No special occasion. Just you, your people, and some time together. #mounttamborine
Something about choosing a special place and being in the moment together.
Yesterday was a GOOD one. For the first time I photographed my couple in this paper bark tree lane...normally there are cars parked on either side but we had this cozy spot all to ourselves last night. Tamborine Mountain Glades, you never disappoint. #tamborinemountainwedding
