This was my second time photographing the McKibben family. This time they brought the entire family! Grandma Denise said this session was 30 years in the making… they hadn’t had a family portrait of them all since her wedding day. Denise + Chuck actually had their wedding photos taken at Sidecut Metropark!! Michelle + Scott also invited her brother David with girlfriend Jessica. I love it when families can all get together for portraits. Something I should do more with my own family. Gasp! I would encourage everyone not to wait for family portraits. Grandma Denise said it was something they were always planning to do when this or that happened first (for us girls mainly the ‘losing weight’ goal, etc) but that wait was 30 years!!
